SHE SELLS SEASHELLS

Hi lovely people!
It's been a Bank Holiday here in England, and my lovely hubby took our little girl down to our local fair (I don't like going- hate crowds!)....and my boy went out with his mates, so I've had a whole day to myself....CRAFT HEAVEN!
I've caught up with a few DT cards but this one is just for me. I've had the idea brewing since I got the freebie image of Heather Valentin on her Lacy Sunshine Facebook page...fell in love with this little mermaid as soon as I saw her!
For a change, I have used lots Polychromos to colour the image, together with some Promarkers. I die-cut some shell shapes to make the base card, adding some Frantage to both sides. I also die-cut the image and some little swirlies. The embellishments are quite simple; I always keep the offcut stems from mulberry flowers (just in case!) and I've used a few of those today to make little twirls, by twisting them around a wooden kebeb stick, and covering them in German Glass Glitter. The only other bitsies I have used are a few flowers, pearl string, cheesecloth and some flat-backed pearls. Here' a close-up of the image:

Hope you like it!
Hugs
Fiona xx
